Oil Painting Workshop Date: September 13-22, 2016
Gaye Adams has been painting professionally for over 20 years and has garnered awards for her work at the national and international levels. Her work has been published numerous times in such publications as International Artist Magazine and Pastel Artist International.
In addition to her studio paintings, Gaye also has a passion for plein aire painting, and enjoys traveling to varied locations with the intent of exploring the landscape with paint. The strong use of light is evident in the artists paintings, regardless of medium or subject matter.
An avid communicator and teacher, Gaye enjoys imparting her passion for painting to her students and teaches regularly, feeling that “paying it forward” is an important part of her life as a painter.
Gaye currently holds Senior Signature Status with the FCA as well as holding a “Master Pastellist” designation with the Pastel Artists of Canada. She is also a member of the Oil Painters of America.
When not traveling to paint or teach, she works out of her studio in Blind Bay, British Columbia.
