Taking a Second Look

Susan Blackwood’s tour is coming up in September and so I thought I would share one of her blogs with you.  I love that  you can learn something new, from something old … or in this case re-learn something you once thought did not work for you.  We are forever learning, and sometimes it is just about timing.     Taking a Second Look – by Susan Blackwood (February 2011)   Years ago I studied with a wonderful artist named Wynn Jones. Posted by on May 31, 2014 in Blog | 0 comments

As I like to do, I have written a tour journal of our days during our workshop.  Denise’s tour was May 11-20 and unfortunately, for the first time, the weather did not cooperate.  What can you do?  At the end of the day or should I say tour, the amount of work that was produced was phenomenal, despite the weather.  Nothing fair weather about these painters! I too have been learning the language now for going on 10 years, and am yet to master it.  The only good thing: it is phonetic… you say it like you see it… once you learn the accents above some of the letters, ofcourse.  Good luck and I...
